Call for Papers

The Canadian Journal of Music Therapy is welcoming submissions for its next edition, volume 27 (release date, 2021).

We are seeking articles on music therapy research, theory and practice and the intersection between music therapy, the arts and science. We accept articles in English and in French. We welcome submissions from first time authors and seasoned veterans and offer a manuscript development program to assist authors through the writing process.

Printed copies of the Journal are free to MTAs and to university, libraries and similar institutions who have a subscription.  Student and intern members are required to pay a low fee for printed copies of the publications.

Our articles can also be found online (from 2004 to present) through ProQuest indices: Nursing & Allied Health Source and their International Index to Music Periodicals. From 2010 EBSCO has carried the Journal through its Academic Search Complete database.
